Open, communicative, creative: The open space concept is lived out in every detail in the new European headquarters of the Lapp Group (U.I. Lapp GmbH) in Stuttgart-Vaihingen. This common thread runs through the entire architectural concept: the transparent shell of the administration building is characterized by large window fronts, the two L-shaped wings connect a 16-meter-high glass atrium. In order to maintain openness, Lapp opted for the dimmable ECONTROL smart 45/8 glass (EControl, Plauen). It offers two advantages: the unobstructed view of the outside is always maintained - and the intelligent glass supports the air conditioning of the atrium. |
