It should be open and bright, the new school canteen of the German-Spanish elementary school in Hamburg, with a clear view of the outside at all times - and protected from the sun's rays, winter cold and hard-fired footballs. External venetian blinds were therefore out of the question for the architects at Knaack & Prell. Instead, the decision was made in favor of the dimmable ECONTROL sun protection glass. It fulfills all requirements and enables the individual adaptation of g-value and daylight transmission to the weather conditions.
